Report( 2020-01) Melchiorre, Angela ; Ottonello, GiacomoIn this short report on the MOOC "Monitoring the Human Rights of LGBTI Persons" you will read about the demographics of the audience, feedback on the courseware, what was most liked, and recommendations for improvement. The MOOC's multidisciplinary and multiregional approach, as well as the testimonies by LGBT activists from Turkey, Lebanon and Brazil, were highly appreciated. Additional highlights were a lecture by UN Independent Expert on Violence and Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, Victor Madrigal-Borloz, and an interview with Ms. Heidi Hautala, Member of the European Parliament. The MOOC offered knowledge, case studies and data that were not available before, thus inspiring new action in this area of human rights.

Final report( 2019-05) Melchiorre, Angela ; Ottonello, GiacomoIn this short report on the MOOC "Citizenship and Human Rights Education for Change" you will read about the demographics of the audience, feedback on the courseware, what was most liked, and recommendations for improvement. This MOOC was commissioned by EU CONVINCE (COmmoN Values INClusive Education), a joint project of ETUCE, EFEE and ESHA. Designed to support teaching professionals and educators, the course offered systematic use of case studies and good practices which was not only highly appreciated, but also made it easier for participants to connect their learning with real life.

Participants appreciated the very engaging materials and the intense exchange in the discussion forums. Many stated that this thought-provoking educational experience will inform and inspire their future actions. Nora Cortiñas of the movement Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and Albie Sachs, former judge on the Constitutional Court of South Africa, were among the many well-known experts and testimonials involved in this MOOC.
