Persons with Albinism and climate change in Africa: ‘A matter of life and death’

Abstract

Persons with albinism (PWAs) in Africa are intensely vulnerable, from genetic susceptibility to severe sunburn and skin cancer to societal stigma and violence. As climate change escalates, inclusive policies and targeted interventions are urgently required to safeguard their health and human rights.
