dc.description.abstract The research aims to demonstrate how symbolic reparations should be understood as one of the components of the reparation pillar within transitional justice. Therefore, based on the holistic approach of transitional justice, the thesis will make a comprehensive analysis of the transitional justice framework with a particular focus on the pillar of reparations. Furthermore, within the scope of the pillar of reparation, the dissertation will address the concept of symbolic reparations starting from its definition, seeking to suggest how to improve this concept towards recognizing symbolic reparations as one of the components of the pillar of reparation. en_US
