In this report on the MOOC "Transitology – Pathways to and from Democracy" we briefly present an overview of our participants - their expectations, motivations and professional background - as well as their feedback on the course. The audience expressed great satisfaction with their learning experience, finding the course ‘perfectly balanced’ and the content ‘informative’ and ‘insightful’. In participants’ opinion, the course gave them the opportunity to better understand the political dynamics around regime transitions and to apply this knowledge into their daily work practice. It also helped them become active citizens able to think critically about current political developments and democratic trends, thus bolstering their ability to promote and protect democracy in their own countries.
